In his welcoming remarks, Dr. Berhanemeskel Tena, the President of KUE, noted that all partners of the project should put their utmost effort into the effective and efficient utilization of the project’s finance. Dr. Berhanemeskel also stressed that the presidents and leaders of the participating institutions are mainly responsible for sporadically ensuring the implementation of the project.
Dr. Ephrem Tekle, the team leader of the FAITH Project, highlighted that the partnership agreement was meant to place a fertile ground and a smooth platform to run the project and make it fruitful. Dr Ephrem further explained that the partnership agreement was developed within the framework of the EU’s mother document which the overall project activities are governed by.
Finally, it was learned that all partners emphasized the need for commitment, responsibility, and accountability for the successful accomplishment of such a big project which certainly strengthens the partnership and builds strong relationships among the project participants which would in turn enhance ties with donors like the EU.
